Website Progress and Writing
I am so happy that my website is finally coming together especially because of how much I was dreading taking pictures of the hats I made. I do not know why, so don't ask! Fukn nosy ass... >.> No but seriously It took a lot of effort and it felt like I was really fighting my brain to do it, and that I had to "trick" myself by overriding the system with logic and the promise of my satisfaction being worth it. What helped getting it into motion apart from that was breaking the task down into smaller tasks so that when I check off that tinier, easier thing to do, I feel productive and motivated to keep going especially since it appears to be less intimidating
Also hopefully, maintaining a journal like this will allow me to sharpen my writing ability, even if it is just saying the same type of random stuff that I would have posted on Twitter years ago. I enjoy having an outlet like that. I mean, I do have a physical journal that I use several times a week but it is primarily for practicing gratitude. I also kinda like the idea of being slightly perceived :p I can tell there is a difference in the way I think though since I am using a keyboard to document my thoughts. I think it is because with pen and paper, it is slower so my brain has more time to process what it is I am writing and it has room to explore other ideas even as I am writing, whereas with a keyboard, thinking a thought and then typing it happens almost simultaneously. I don't like it as much but it's simply another form of expressing yourself. Just like how some people prefer pencil crayons to watercolour or something. I would like to get comfortable enough to find my "voice" like how I used to express myself as a kid. It was fun.
